In many years in the courts, I have met many coaches. A few standout, and stick to the memory. Ismar is one of those coaches. Always with positive energy, inspiring his players, always with a big smile. A strong and dependable asset to have in your team, technically very good, and someone you can trust. Hope he goes far in whatever he wants to do, he deserves it. Will always have a place in my team.

When our son Nikola entered the world of tennis, he was only 5 years old. From that day, his love for the sport only grew, slowly turning into a passion. One person who had a key influence on Nikola's development is coach Ismar Salčinović. Ismar has enormous knowledge, playing and coaching experience. His work showed us exceptional dedication to every detail. He gives 100% at every session, without watching the clock. Ismar is one of the most dedicated people you rarely meet in tennis. In a world full of superficiality, we are overjoyed we met Ismar and placed Nikola in his hands. For those coming into Ismar's career — you are in safe, dedicated hands.

Sometimes life brings people together just when it's needed most. That's how it was with our Mako and coach Ismar. As a former athlete and current dance sport coach, I know well what sport means for a child's growth and maturity. After a bad experience with a previous coach, he lost his desire, confidence, and that childish excitement about going onto the court. Tennis, which he once loved, became a burden. As a parent, watching a child who has lost faith in what they love is one of the hardest things. That's when we decided to look for someone who could dedicate themselves to him — an individual who needed radical changes. Already at the first training session together, it smelled like success. Ismar Salčinović, coach, teacher, friend. He didn't immediately talk about results, medals, and great achievements. First, he brought back his smile, the joy of training, the feeling that he can do it, that he's worth it, and that it's not too late to love the sport again. Little by little, our son started running to training with happiness again. He fell in love again with the racket, the ball, the court... and himself on that court. It wasn't easy for him. While other children trained for years without interruption, he had to catch up on what he missed. With a good coach and enormous desire, he began to grow day by day. He learned what discipline, work habits, and fighting mean. He learned not to give up after defeat and that every success must be earned fairly. There were days when he played matches more with his head than his racket. Nerves would sometimes completely break him. He fell a million times, lost faith in himself, gave up in his head, but we went through all of that painstakingly together, step by step, until he learned how to fight with himself. The fight to get through the first round was sometimes a huge thing. Today he has finals and won national tournaments behind him. With coach Ismar, he played Tennis Europe tournaments for the first time, passed matches, played main draws, and showed that he belongs there. Going to the European Championship might look like just another result, but we know how much effort, tears, work, and sacrifice stood behind it. This is not just gratitude to a coach for sports results. This is gratitude to a person who restored a boy's faith in himself when he had lost it. Who knew how to recognize potential when others perhaps didn't see it. Who didn't just make an athlete, but a person. Such coaches are not forgotten. We believe that every mother would confidently place her child in the hands of someone who works with so much heart, patience, and love, as our Ismar does.
